Tour Overview

Acropolis Hill
Your experience begins at the Acropolis Hill, crowned by the Parthenon, one of the world’s most renowned UNESCO World Heritage sites. Walk through history as you visit the Parthenon (built in the Golden Age of Athens in the 5th century BC and still one of the most impressive buildings of the ancient world), the Erechtheion, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Propylaea and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus.
From the summit, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Athens, including the Ancient Agora, the Tower of the Winds, Monastiraki and Plaka, an enchanting blend of old and new Athens, where tradition and modernity coexist in harmony. This vibrant commercial district exudes a nostalgic charm, reflecting the city’s rich cultural heritage.

Acropolis Museum
Next, we will visit the Acropolis Museum, one of the world’s finest museums, housing some of Greece’s most significant archaeological treasures.

Temple of Olympian Zeus & Panathenaic Stadium
Continue to the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the largest temple of ancient Greece, which took over 700 years to complete. Just a short distance away, marvel at the Panathenaic Stadium (Kallimarmaro), the only stadium in the world made entirely of white marble, famous for hosting the first modern Olympic Games in 1896.

Syntagma Square & Neoclassical Landmarks
Moving towards the heart of the city, stop at Syntagma Square, home to the Hellenic Parliament and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Witness the impressive Changing of the Guard, a unique cultural spectacle.
Along Panepistimiou Street, admire the stunning neoclassical architecture of The Academy of Athens, the University of Athens and the National Library.

Lycabettus Hill
Your next stop is Lycabettus Hill, the highest point in Athens, offering unparalleled panoramic views perfect for capturing spectacular photos.

Plaka & Monastiraki
The tour continues through the vibrant districts of Plaka and Monastiraki, where you’ll visit the Ancient Agora, the Roman Agora and the Tower of the Winds historic sites where democracy, philosophy and free thought were born.

Athenian Riviera & Cape Sounion Extension
We will continue on a breathtaking journey along the Athenian Riviera to Cape Sounion, where the iconic Temple of Poseidon majestically overlooks the Aegean Sea. This full-day tour offers a seamless blend of history, breathtaking coastal views and one of the most mesmerizing sunsets in the Mediterranean.
Experience a scenic coastal drive along the Athenian Riviera, passing through glamorous seaside resorts and pristine beaches, with points of interest including The Ellinikon Experience Park, Glyfada, Voula, Vouliagmeni and Varkiza.
